Overview

Visual refresh of the Moneybox app using the newly developed brand.

Moneybox created an initial set of guidelines and principles that needed to be expanded into a design system and applied throughout the app. It required working against quite tight deadlines and creatively applying the design principles to a range of scenarios. I worked alongside the fantastic product and UX team and was focused primarily on visual and UI design.

Select account

This is a key screen in the customer registration journey, the new iconography style needed to be engaging and retain the personality of the Moneybox brand and to be reusable in all screen scenarios. These are examples of in situ studies.

The next key screen in the customer registration journey could have appeared quite dry and uninspiring, however the Moneybox team were keen to make this section engaging using illustrations.

Dark mode

During this project dark mode for iOS was introduced by Apple. We created design logic for swapping component colours.
